The family-owned company is launching Geistlich Bio-Gide® Forte, an advanced collagen membrane that ensures reliable bone regeneration and optimal tissue integration. By combining proven Geistlich technology with greater strength, improved stability, and optimized handling, the membrane is ideally suited for complex clinical cases.

Proven Geistlich Bio-Gide® technology with added strength
Mark Spilker, Chief Science Officer at Geistlich, says: “With Geistlich Bio-Gide® Forte, we are expanding our membrane portfolio by offering a version of Geistlich Bio-Gide® that delivers particularly robust handling.” Geistlich Bio-Gide® Forte is particularly firm and stable when hydrated. The membrane unfolds effortlessly, adapts flexibly to the defect and can be cut even when hydrated allowing precise adaption to the bone contour. Building on the outstanding properties of Geistlich Bio-Gide® technology, the new variant also helps to significantly improve the survival rate of implants.

Launch in the US, Europe in preparation
Geistlich Bio-Gide® Forte will be presented to the professional community for the first time at the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) annual meeting in October 2025. The membrane is already available in North America, while preparations are progressing for its introduction to the European market. It is offered in four different sizes in the USA and three in Europe.
