Micross

Making bone grafting a handy procedure

Geistlich Micross is a dental bone scraper designed for minimally invasive grafting. It is suitable for autogenous bone harvesting in narrow spaces, such as minor periodontal and peri-implant defects. The Micross is available in two versions: straight and curved. The Micross Curve features an improved ergonomic design and is easy to use in hard-to-reach areas.

Why your patients will love the results

Gentle: Harvest precisely the amount of bone needed to fill the defect and reduce overall invasiveness.

Comfort: The narrow design of the Micross scrapers allows you to choose a minimally invasive surgical technique. This approach reduces post-operative discomfort for your patients considerably.

Perform with user-friendly and time-saving products

Ease of use: The slim design of the Micross enables easy bone harvesting in narrow areas. The bent tip of the Micross Curve allows comfortable handling even in challenging sites.

High performance: The blade's sharpness is achieved through patented high-tech processes, ensuring an excellent cutting experience. The collection chamber of the Micross devices can be filled up to twenty-five times per surgery, with the blade maintaining a constant performance.

Exceptional results you can rely on

Increased potential: Combining equal parts of autogenous bone and Geistlich Bio-Oss®, then covering the defect with Geistlich Bio-Gide®, significantly reduces hard tissue resorption.2,4,5

Cell vitality: Manual bone harvesting preserves the cell vitality of the cortical tissue. This is a fundamental requirement for successful graft integration and reduced resorption activity.6,7

Micross and Micross Curve – minimally invasive bone harvesting

Handy in narrow grafting areas
With a diameter of only 5 mm, the Micross is designed to collect smaller quantities of cortical bone for minor grafting procedures. Its micro-blade is based on the proven Safescraper Twist technology. It shares the same key benefits, while being one third smaller than the Safescraper blade. This makes the Micross devices particularly well-suited for a minimally invasive approach.
Designed with usability in mind
The pen-like design of the Micross facilitates harvesting even in hard-to-reach and close-to-bone defect areas. Bone shavings are easy to retrieve by opening the blue lock and gently pushing the plunger forward. The ergonomic design of the Micross Curve allows for comfortable handling, even in challenging sites.
Excellent cutting performance
The single-use nature of the Micross devices ensures reliable cutting capability and prevents any efficiency loss due to device wear. By choosing a single-use device, you can avoid any cross-contamination of the collected bone chips.
