Meisinger - Bone Management®
The Master -Pin-Control System
The Master-Pin-Control System was developed specifically for the fixation of resorbable, non-resorbable and titanium membranes. Thanks to the sharp tip and the stable design, the pins can be placed precisely in cortical bone. The pins have an additional mini-thread and are a hybrid of screw and pin. The thread allows easy and safe removal after the successful healing period. Master-Pin-Control Basic is an entry level System with a reduced set of instruments.
Advantages of the Master-Pin-Control
- Sturdy: No bending, no breakage – allowing safe fixation of membranes with pins made of Titanium Alloy Grade 5
- Precision: Sharp tip and high stability of the pins allow for precise placement of the pins also in cortical bone and at an angle
- Usability: Easy Removal from the tray and placement of the pins due to the specially developed Pin-Holder
- Efficiency: Instruments for the placement of Bleeding Points for optimal healing conditions

Master-Pin-X-Control Basic (Prof. Urban membrane fixation technique)
Pin System for Membrane Fixation | developed with Dr. Istvan Urban
The Master-Pin-X-Control Basic (BMPXB) includes ten threaded pins (MP30) contained in a pin box. A suitable screwdriver (TL0T1) for manual insertion is also included. Furthermore, the system comprises two twist drills with depth stops (203S) and two different drill bits for pre-drilling (203RF).
AT A GLANCE
- Secure fixation of membranes using new threaded pins made of biocompatible titanium alloy Grade 5-ELI (Titanium Grade 23)
- Simple and safe transfer and optimal force transmission during insertion thanks to the Torx interface.
- Drill with depth stop for safely setting bleeding points for optimized bone regeneration
- Secure attachment of membranes now also in hard-to-reach places (lingual)
- Thanks to the self-tapping thread, pre-drilling is usually unnecessary (only recommended in cases of high bone hardness).
