Geistlich invests in the next generation of regenerative dentistry

At EuroPerio11 in Vienna, Geistlich presented its initiative to promote young talents in regenerative dentistry. With the Attract Young Generation program, Geistlich equips young people for a clinical career in an international environment. In addition, postgraduates and undergraduates from over 20 universities will have access to the online educational journey Geistlich myGuide®.

Geistlich has just reached a milestone in Budapest with its global initiative "Next Generation Round Table": the grand finale of the multi-year regional training of young talents in Europe, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific, culminated in a global meeting bringing together 43 young talents. After three intensive days of lectures, workshops, discussions and networking, the participants formed three regional alumni groups. They will now organize peer-led events titled "Osteology Connects" under the auspices of the Osteology Foundation, which was founded by Geistlich. Geistlich launched the initiative in Bangkok in 2017. In total, more than 60 young dentists have benefited from it over the past few years. The Osteology Foundation and Geistlich want to work together to promote the young generation with the demand for scientific excellence, ethical integrity, and outstanding continuing education. In 2026, three new groups will start the multi-year training in the "Next Generation Round Table".

Giving young talents a big stage, as recently at the APAC Young Leaders Congress, as well as access to the online educational journey Geistlich myGuide® are other key elements of the Attract Young Generation program. Postgraduates and undergraduates from over 20 universities receive free access to this online learning offer, now available in English, newly in German, and soon also in Chinese.

Expanding treatment options through partnerships

Geistlich aims to broaden the scope of quality-based regenerative treatments through in-house developments, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships, ultimately making it accessible to an even larger group of patients. A strong example is the medical technology company Meta Technologies s.r.l., which has been part of Geistlich since 2021. Its instruments are widely recognized as the gold standard in dentistry. At EuroPerio11 in Vienna, Geistlich launched Meta's improved MicrossCurve. With its slim, ergonomic design, it improves visibility and control during clinical procedures.
