A smile stands for confidence, connection and joy. Missing teeth or damaged tissue can impair chewing function, stability and self-confidence. Yet the costs of bone regeneration, implants and dental restorations represent a significant hurdle for some patients. This is where the Geistlich Patient Support Program comes in. As the global market leader in regenerative dentistry, Geistlich is making a contribution precisely here in the year of its 175th anniversary. The Patient Support Program combines the company’s expertise with targeted support for people who previously lacked access to medically appropriate treatment.

Patients from four countries receive support

Following a careful clinical review, an expert commission selected six patient cases from Brazil, France, India and Uruguay. Geistlich covers the costs of the required Geistlich biomaterials and contributes to the implant and crown costs. “With the Patient Support Program, we not only support tissue regeneration. We also give patients back a piece of quality of life and self-confidence,” says Friedrich Buck, Global Director Training & Education at Geistlich.

Geistlich implements the program in close collaboration with the treating dentists. With their clinical expertise and personal commitment, they make a decisive contribution to ensuring that the selected patients receive the treatment that is right for them.

The Patient Support Program underlines Geistlich’s ambition to improve the health and quality of life of patients around the world through regenerative solutions. To this end, the company invests a significant amount every year in its own initiatives and donations.
